Gil Scott-Heron (born 1 April 1949) is an American poet, musician, and author known primarily for his late 1960s and early 1970s work as a spoken word soul performer and his collaborative work with musician Brian Jackson. His collaborative efforts with Jackson featured a musical fusion of jazz, blues and soul music, as well as lyrical content concerning social and political issues of the time, delivered in both rapping and melismatic vocal styles by Scott-Heron.

Can U Hear Me Now???
I made the beat in 7 minutes, wrote it about 7 minutes, and recorded it in about 7 minutes as well. A lot was going thru my head with the world being shut down every other day it seems like and they trying to keep us locked in the crib 24/7!!! So I decided to switch my negative energy on life and turn it into positive my giving my inner thoughts to the world. Maybe its someone else out there thats going thru alot too.
